I study turbulent flows and develop aerodynamic models for wind turbines, wings, and propellers.

Drag the yellow point to change its position. Drag the square handle on the circle to change its width, ε. Try to match the reference flow. A lower error means a closer match.
I use scientific insights to make aerodynamic simulations more accurate and efficient. This example comes from my research on actuator line simulations of wings: how should we choose the position and width, ε, of the force used to represent an airfoil?
